Several versions of the soundtrack have been available since its original release. In 2002, the soundtrack was re-released by Cirque du Soleil Musique Inc. with an additional two tracks entitled ‘Cerceaux’ and ‘Malioumba’ (both with vocals by Francesca Gagnon) recorded at live shows during the 2001 season of Alegria in Sydney. In 1995, a limited employee edition, Alegria: Live at Fairfax, was created for the artists and crew of the production. This special edition features the complete score on CD and is considered a collector’s item.
The show’s soundtrack was recorded with the voice of French-Canadian Francesca Gagnon. Gagnon also played the character “The Singer in White” (lead vocalist) on the Alegria DVD, along with French-Canadian backup vocalist Eve Montpetit who played “The Singer in Black”. However, in practice, the “troupe” of singers rotates from time to time in order to avoid “burn-out.”[3] The “troupe” of singers is also called the “troupe”.
Cirque du Soleil released a DVD production of the show, Alegria. It was filmed in July 2001, in Sydney, Australia. This production was directed and produced by Nick Morris. He used 14 cameras and special filming techniques to create a viewing experience that transports the viewer into the heart of the performance.

La canción es una adaptación multilingüe (en inglés, italiano y español) de otra canción del Cirque du Soleil titulada “Un pazzo gridar”[cita requerida], escrita por René Dupéré y Franco Dragone y con letra sólo en italiano[cita requerida]. “Un pazzo gridar” es también una canción del espectáculo Alegría[cita requerida].
En 1999, el Cirque du Soleil grabó una nueva versión de la canción para su película “Alegría, the Film”. Esta nueva versión también se incluyó en la banda sonora de la película,[6][7] y recibió una nominación al premio Genie a la mejor canción original en la 20ª edición de los premios Genie.
En 2006, el Cirque du Soleil grabó una nueva adaptación multilingüe (en inglés, portugués y español) titulada “La nova alegría” para su espectáculo de arena Delirium. Esta nueva adaptación fue escrita por René Dupéré, Robert Dillon, Franco Dragone, Paolo Ramos y Manuel Tadros[8].

Mais les pires cauchemars ont aussi une fin et le Cirque du Soleil plantera à nouveau son chapiteau à Barcelone en mars prochain, dans le quartier culturel de l’Hospitalet, où il présentera Luzia, un spectacle basé sur les mythes et légendes du Mexique. La Vanguardia a interviewé le président-directeur général du Cirque du Soleil, qui a répondu aux questions par voie télématique depuis Montréal (Québec).
Dans chaque spectacle, nous devons relever le défi de nous renouveler et, surtout, d’être pertinents. Nous aimons travailler sur les préoccupations partagées par les gens du monde entier. On parle beaucoup de la diversité aujourd’hui, mais pas au Cirque du Soleil, car nous avons la diversité en nous. Notre personnel vient de 49 pays, nous sommes une sorte de Nations Unies. C’est ce qui fait notre pertinence, car notre équipe et nos thèmes sont universels. Et ce sont des questions sociales. Nous n’abordons pas les questions politiques, ce qui pourrait être ennuyeux. Nous nous intéressons aux questions sociales globales, qui sont au-dessus des questions politiques, et nous les soutenons.
